Has anyone tried the special k diet... does it really work...if so what what were some of your meal plans!

I lost about 5 lbs and actually didn't get tired of the cereal. Special K for breakfast and lunch then ate a regular dinner. The red berries are sour at first but the fruit and yogurt is the best! Grapenuts and a few other cereals also claim the same weightloss as Special K.

Yes we tried special k however, there are better ways and better cereals to do the diet with. Kashi cereals has a variety of them and they are much more healthy with alot of protein to keep you full. You dont have to eat the same cereal each time either. What works for one may not work for another but committment is key as well. I recommend Kashi cereals/bars.

im not on the diet
but i do eat it for breakfast
or a late night snack
it tastes good for the
small amount of calories it has
i wouldnt go on the special k diet
a lot of people havent seen results from it
and i wouldnt want to eat two of my meals
with cearel, then your diet gets boring
and you give up. But it is a good snack
or breakfast with some bananas and skim milk
so a diet helper yes.. but a good diet
i say no

It works. I lost like 5lbs in two weeks. I just ate the cereal for breakfast and lunch and ate like normal for dinner. The cereal gets old fast. If you can stand eating the same thing for two weeks then go for it.

It's unhealthy. You need fruits, veggies and whole grains in your diet.

You would also be very hungry all day just eating a sering of cereal.

It works great for me....I have lost 30lbs............

I was 160 now I'm....130...I'm only 5'1...I still need to lose 15 more lbs....

This is what I do..........

Get up and walk 2 miles in the morning...............Don't eating anything till your done walking......................

Then have your red berries specialK..............With soy milk....Its really good............. : ) .

Lunch...can of chicken.....cherrys........and steamed veggies...or raw ones.....

have a snack bout 2 hours later.....soy nuts.....almons.....veggies fruit.......

Dinner..... Chicken or fish..NO red meats.......You can have salads.....with fat free dressing.......NO sweets though...they are really bad....No pop either....just water.....water all day long.......thats it...nothing else.....

You can also jump rope...its fun and it helps too......

But the specail k Diet works...I've been doing this 2 months now....and I'm loving it... I feel great and looking better : )

I have tried it. I didnt lose any weight plus it gets old after awhile
