hmmmm?? u know, i hate to ask it, but do u have common sense? if it can hurt ppl, what makes u think it can't hurt animals?

Yes. Smoking is smoking- Either people or pets-does not matter. I quit smoking 6 years ago- Before I quit, I had adopted an older dog-who HATED the smoke. He would bark, sneeze, snort and paw at the smoke. Pretty smart dog he was. I was the idiot.

Sure. They have lungs, don't they? Also, along with the risks of lung cancer, they run the risk of chronic bronchial disease, causing coughing, and shortness of breath. Cats have been shown to have a higher risk of lymphoma because the cigarette smoke deposits on their fur, and they groom it off, ingesting the carcinogens.

If you need yet another reason not to smoke, do it for your pets. Or at least smoke outside.

Absolutely, Second Hand Smoke can hurt pets just as bad if not worse as it can humans.

I get irritated by people's second hand smoke, I certainly don't let my dogs around it. I am sure it does the same thing to dogs as it does to people who don't smoke.
