I thought that people who used such rhetoric were radicals? We're not a country in the middle...we're on two ends!

But the reason they use the rhetoric is because they are unhappy with current events...we are in a potentially disasterous situation in NK, Iran. not to mention israel is fighting on two fronts and angering Syria and Iran (who may or may not have short range nuclear capability).

I've seen them, but they remind me of the blather so many political echoes spew up. Bat barf in short. There isn't going to be a world war three.

Ever heard of the domino theory? Know why it stayed a theory? Because aggressors do things for a reason. Usually exploitation. Gangsters are a good example.

Gangsters avoid wars because it's ' bad for business. '

If you blew up those you leech off of, how will your own parasitic carcasse get by?

See where I'm going with this?

If you study, even cursorily, the histories of the wars the U.S. has fought, who was fought, and how those wars were prosecuted, you'll increasingly find we are not the most honorable bunch in history.

We have great P.R. Effective propaganda management. Excellent stooge services. And we lie better than a Persian rug.

( No pun intended. )

Of course, we live in a universe of cause and effect. Never mind the Karma bit. Rome fell from within with it's treasuries pretty much intact. Talk about history repeating itself.

It does almost look like the beginnings of such a war. N. Korea-Iran-Al Qaeda vs. United States-Great Britain-(New) Iraq. You can probably throw Israel, Pakistan, and Syria in there as well. You are right, though. The folks who are saying "bring it on," or "who should we nuke," are obviously speaking out of their behinds. They are not taking into account that the countries that would be against us have nukes as well, so they can use them on us as well. We as a country are not invincible, and they cannot see that. To them, America will ALWAYS win. As much as I wish that would happen, it simply cannot. And I think the reason anyone complains about suicide bombers is because they take it out on innocent civilians and murder them for their cause. As evil and despicable as I think it is, I do have to say one thing about them...they are willing to kill themselves for their cause. That really tells a lot about their loyalty and stupidity. Japanese kamikaze fighters in WWII had it as well. It would be hard to find as many American soldiers who would do that. I'm sure you can find them, but not as many as the Japanese or these terrorists.

People are being flippant. I am sure very few people here have actually lived through a war and seen its effects. Although we're in conflict with Iraq, we only see what's on the news. It doesn't make much difference in out day to day lives.

Let's just hope that the people who make comments like that would not actually act on those kinds of thoughts. I like to think that most people would not want any war, especially WWIII.

I don't see WW3 anytime soon. I don't know how people are seeing it happen and who would it be against?
