the meaning of life is stability. You look at the smallest micro-organisms to us human beings, the so called top of the foodchain, everything exists to survive and become stable. The same is seen in chemistry, every chemical reaction exists to become more stable, hence what makes us joins us in this way to become stable. Also if you sk anyone what they want from life you will get the same black and white answer...lots of money, house, a car, a family etc....these help make us more stable...financially stable, emotionally stable etc. Stability made life and stability controlls life!

The point, or at least the ultimate goal, is to end up in God's eternal presence.
In other words, the point of our existence is to get to Heaven. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
