I haven't been able to read anything comprehendable. I mean, I see the words but when I try to make any sense. .they don't. Kind of like trying to read a bunch of different languages all at once.

I have never been able to. In most dreams I am mostly blind, but I still know somehow the way things look and am able to "read" without seeing the words. Most dreams only last 2-3 minutes while they can seem like hours to the viewer, it all takes place in the subconscious which is far different than we are used to.

Do you mean, can people read things that are written in their dream? Because I have a recurring dream where I have to read a book and the subject matter always changes. When I wake up, I can usually remeber what I was reading about.

I always thought there was no limit to someone's imagination in his or her dreams. Not being able to read seems a strange skill to lose while dreaming--especially when I often gain the ability to fly in my dreams!

People can read in their dreams.
Often the words appear backwards or mirror image. People usually lucid dream to practice reading in dreams.

you can read in your dreams, but there are limitations. One thing i know that you cant do is change lighting, like turn a light switch and tings of that nature. i saw it in a film in my philosophies class.
