Ok...I was seeing this guy for about a month. We were just friends fooling around at first, but soon started developing feelings for each other. We both backed off about 2 weeks ago. He kept in touch and now we're going out to celebrate his birthday. I don't think there's too much water under the bridge to keep things light and go with the flow. Our big mistake I think was being together sooooo much at first. He stayed at my place for two weeks shortly after we met. He and I both felt a big attraction, but I show my feelings more than he does. I came across as needy and desperate, which I'm not. I'm just a control freak.....lol.
I plan on keeping my distance and keeping things in perspective this time. We've slept together and I would really like to again!!! But I don't know what that would say to him. Does it matter, because we've already broken the seal? I don't want to throw away the possibility of having something more later, although I'm not planning on it. What should I do?

Go with the flow but don't be pushy or clingy. If you are going out to celebrate his birthday with him, it sound like he's still interested in you. Yuo have your whole life ahead of you. I think you've got the idea when you say you will keep things in persepective this time just remember that though. When you feel so strongly and with so much passion it is hard sometimes. Especially when you're with someone who isn't as expressive. Try to be yourself, just yourself in check!

I think you got a good head on your shoulders and you are using it well. Its a good idea to take it slow and yes that was too much at the beginning. keep your distance but you are right to give it a go you never know when the arrow is gonna strike your heart. Just go on out, have fun and see where it goes.

It all depends on what role you want him to have in your life. If you want him as a boyfriend then I would DEFINITELY NOT sleep with him. If you sleep with him he will think you are easy. Guys like a challenge. If you don't sleep with him then he will chase you trying to get something he wants. As soon as you say No he will say Yes. With his new found respect and desire for you there will be a better chance of becoming more then just F*** Buddies. If you only want him as a F*** Buddie then definitely sleep with him. Have him remember you as a needy girl who puts out.

Just be real with him. Tell him that you and him have went to a place of no return. If you and him can be friends without getting too serious just take it one day at a time.
