I am a moderate and both are serious problems.
But these are definitely not the only problems that we are facing.

For example:

The vast majority of the right wing politicians have undermined the first amendment by creating "free speech zones" instead of allowing free speech anywhere in this country as well as requiring permits for a peaceable assembly to protest. This is in violation of the constitution because if the government wants to squash a non-violent protest they can just refuse to issue a permit, send in the riot police and start bombing the protesters with teargas.

The vast majority of the left wing politicians have undermined the second amendment by dictating where and when we have the right to bear arms as well as what kind of arms that we can bear. If you read the articles of the federation which is the framework of the constitution you will find the reasoning and thought behind the writing of the Constitution. In these writings by Thomas Jefferson the only reason the second amendment exists is so that the people would have the means to overthrow the government should the need arise. That means that there can be no restriction on the type of weapons that we can posses or carry.

Before you start sending me flame mail about columbine, think about this. If the teachers and administrators actually had the right to bear arms and exercised that right, those to pieces of garbage that shot up that school would have been gunned down before they were able to reload and kill even more students and teachers.

That comparison really doesn't apply. George Bush is responsible for much of what is going wrong right now. He raised college fees and student loan rates, has done nothing regarding the rise of oil prices since his family and friends benefit from it, invaded a country without evidence of threat and without an exit strategy, and approved a spying program that wire-taped the American public based on word filters. Bush is not to blame for every thing that is a miss over here, but he is responsible for a lot of ill in the world. Illegal immigrants on the other hand, are breaking the law by coming into the country. However, they take on jobs that no one else will at inhumane pay rates. In fact, many conservatives only scapegoat illegal immigrants to draw attention away from other hot button issues like why the economy is doing so poorly and why during war time we haven't raised taxes? Many conservative companies, Walmart is one right off the bat, actually hire illegals so they can pay them less than minimum wage because they are off the grid. No social security number, no taxes -- no secured minimum wage. So really, you may want to look into things regarding both issues. And please be aware that nothing I've said is conjecture or hearsay or rumor. All of this is fact, check some news sites and you'll know for sure.

I don't blame illegals for any of my personal problems. I blame the federal government for not enforcing immigration laws and I blame the illegals for breaking our laws.
