It depends on what area of IT you are interested in. Do you want to be a developer? systems administrator? Tester? You should start on the area of expertise you want to be and then you can decide on the type of certifcate to work on.

work hard and try to learn in depth in any particular language or a domain. You can become expert.

Get enrolled in Sullivan University. There is NO better program to get your IT certs.
