Smoking pot isn't illegal until you get caught with it. The average cop is very good at not getting caught. If you are not aware there is a closed mouth policy in the police dept. Cops will beat the **** out of you and not rat each other out..........and probably stoned when they are doing it. Do they "YES", will we hear about it"NOT".

what do you think they do with most of the stuff they take from people on a bust,take some of the pot, and the boose goes to there next policemans ball.

I wouldn't doubt that there are a few however it's highly unlikely since they are regularly tested for drugs, Alcohol however, is widely abused by police officers. Domestic violence, which goes hand-in-hand with alcohol abuse, is also quite high among police officers.

Some do it illegally and some do it as part of the necessary functions of their job.
