So, what do you have around the house?
Do your kids eat everything you do? Any leftovers?
Try making and freezing 2 small hamburger patties that you can pull out for emergencies...sometimes I decorate mine with an olive cut in half for eyes, and half a bread and cutter pickle for a mouth.
There's always toasted cheese (with or without tomato slice). Spray your sandwich and fry them.
Try to give them some veggies (carrot and or celery sticks stuffed with pb, cherry tomatoes) and fresh fruit. I like to mix whatever's in season into vanilla yogurt.

peanut butter bacon and marshmallow sandwiches. Yum!
I also have always had an affinity for Sardines, lettuce, tomato and Durkee spread.
Mac and cheese with tuna and pees.
