I just started talking to this woman who is divorced. I'm separated and I told her that up front and that I am not looking to get into any relationships, especially since I still married and don't want to create any more problems for myself. Plus I'm not ready to date let alone be in a relationship. She on the other hand wants me to speed up my divorce and be with her. I told her that I can't do that and that I still love my wife. What's the best way too create some distance between her and me without hurting her feelings. The truth is she's a nice lady who is very attractive and would make a good mate but I'm far from wanting to be back in that boat. Especially with someone who seems to be desperate. Who’s got the best advice? I already thought about faking my own death or alien abduction to get out of this situation but let’s be honest, I need real answers.

I've told her all of this already but she seems to ignor it and wants build a relationship with me. Mind you I've had no sexual relations with her nor have I tried.

why dont you just tell her everything you told us above?? you are being totally truthful to yourself in writing all that you wrote for us to read, if i were you, id cut ths out and paste it her in her forehead. not literally, but i mean tell her everything that you think and period, that should solve the problem.

if at the end, she sitll insists, i would be a little more harsh and you would have no other choice but to be rude and leave her.

I think that you need to be truthful with her even if it hurts her feelings. If you are trying to work your marriage out you don't need the distractions.
