i don't understand why ghetto stepped ahead such distinctive meanings. yet i imagine the reason it is conjoined with particular black human beings is because blacks have embraced that be conscious. Now that ghetto has better meaning than only a low earnings section, meanings that sort round hazards like ignorant personality, or ignorant naming(giving human beings names without meaning), it is now offensive to blacks. i did not understand names should be ghetto. i'm guessing many blacks with strange names that propose no longer some thing who come from like ghettos or hoods, that celebration is now a ghetto way of naming someone. i don't understand, only a chance. some human beings in spite of the fact which have nicknames so it isn't any longer as undesirable as those who're actual named Ethnically challenged names, semi whack names that belong to issues (Peaches, apple) or names without meaning.

Not all the time. My name seems spanish. Alot of people when they read my name think I'm spanish but im not, im Haitian. It is wierd though because we have hispanic people calling the house speaking spanish and we have to tell them we're not hispanic. It's funny sometimes.Btw, my last name is Alvarez.

In general yes, but I wouldn't give it a blanket "yes". Generally people give names that they like, not necessarily what's indicative of their race/culture. For example, I'm East Indian, but my name is very western. My last name is "Lord", and my first name is western also, so you'd never guess I'm Indian based on that only.

there is a tendancy for ethic groups to select certain names for their children. sometimes you can guess a person's ethnicity by their name, but it is not foolproof, as other races will sometimes choose some of those names for their uniqueness. also, you can sometimes guess a person's religion or nationality by their surname.
