Most blackjack games don't allow mucking because the eye in the sky wants to see the cards too. The cards are dealt face down because usually these are single or double deck games where less cards are in play. You end up seeing all of the cards at one point or another. You can count cards based on what has been played already and make your guesses based on what's left in the deck.

Even if I knew the answer to this question, I would not tell you the method over the Internet. Counting cards is illegal and teaching/ sharing the technique is too.

As far as card counting is concerned, you can only count the cards you see.

unless everyone shows their cards after each hand, you can't count cards. counting cards depends on seeing the cards in play.

i just wanted to say who ever gave the answer counting cards is illegal is stupid counting cards is not illegal in vegas they will kick you out of a casino if they catch you doing it but atlantic city it is illegal to discriminate against card counters also please avoid games with face down cards

it is a bit harder cause you don't have long to look at them, also the dealer will shuffle every 2 or three hands so counting is kind of pointless
