Real love doesn't mean being the same in every thought... real love is a compatibility, a trust, a bond between two people who have recognized in the other that which they have been seeking their whole lives, you have to have diversity or it gets boring.. real love is out there... but if you look for it you will never find it... it comes to you when you aren't looking... it is unlike any other kind of love you have ever felt for anyone else in your life... you'll know it when you see it... because if you have to question it then that isn't it.

People don't have to think the same to have real love. All you need is a commitment between to people who care about each other more than anything in the world. I think Real Love means you care about someone so much that you will do anything to make their dreams come true, and they'd do anything to make yours come true. If you're talking about finding two exact-fit puzzle pieces, no I don't think it can happen. I think Real Love is finding a puzzle piece you care about and molding around each other to make the perfect fit.
There are no two identical people, although I've met some who are freakily close to my personality, there are always differences. So no, I don't think anyone can be exactly the same as you, but yes, I do think Real Love is possible.

I'm surprised at the number of people who have said it is not possible. I have a VERY real love for my husband. We've been married for 15 years and I love him more now than I did the day we married. Its not all wine and roses, but if allow my imagination to run away and think about life without him, I literally get sick. I love him the way he is, we love doing the same things, we share the same beliefs, we're honest with each other and we agree on most things (is there anyone who agrees on everything? no, but that doesn't mean it isn't real love). Our favorite saying is "You're not perfect, but you're perfect for ME!" I hope that you find that kind of love one day. It IS possible.

You dont necessarily have to have everything in common...infact,sometimes the whole "opposites attract" thing works..
In my opinion, finding real love isnt the problem...its keeping the love alive or as they say "keep the fire burning" thats the hard part...
I dont know, you might call me a "hopeless romantic" which i would turn around and say "yes,i am a romantic..but a hopeful one!"...so,its obvious you DO want to find real love, otherwise u wouldnt be posting up this question..i say, drop the whole pessimistic attitude and BELIEVE that there is someone out there for you..she might not be the "Pamela Anderson" type but she is there...just dont be judgemental towards the women u meet...u'll see the difference!! G'luck!

Real love does not come from thinking the same and all else the same as well. REAL love is loving the person for who they are and accepting that NO one individual is perfect - including your/(our) selves!
So therefore; YES, I do think REAL love is very possible, you just have to wait for the right person to come around!

Of course it is. Love is everywhere, The mothers love of a child, the love between two friends, the love between man and women....Love is everywhere. Don't be bitter and lose you hope to find love cause a few bad situations or heartbreak. That's just part of life. I hope to fall in love again, its a wonderful rush of emotions. People don't have to be the same to be in love, have you ever heard the saying (or the song) 'opposites attract' ?? I'm outgoing and talkative everywhere I go but I always choose to be with the quiet, lay'd back guys, and it works out fine.

Yes, I think real love is possible. My husband and I agree on most things but there are some we don't like raising our children, punishments, etc.... We have tried to get thru the hard times of life and are doing a pretty good job.

Yes...real love does exist. I was in "love" once, and so was my partner. We were together for three years (could have been longer). We were like two little children..(however, we are both over 30). We had FUN together. Most people that saw us togther said...Wow, they are in love! However, as all good things must come to an end (I guess), we began to have problems. He began to cheat on me, eventhough, he stated he was in love with me. I thought...if you are so much in love with me, why are you cheating on me? I eventually got out of the relationship, and left his cheating a**, yet, I will never forget him.
He made me feel alive, I had butterflies in my stomach everytime I saw him. He told me whenever he saw me... he felt "excited" on the inside. The minute he would see me a GRIN would cross his face that he could never wipe off! It was true love, and I know I will experience it again! So..yes, yes, yes...true love is not a myth. It can become your "reality" at any give moment. KEEP THE FAITH!

I do believe that there is real love out there and I believe that there are certain things in this world that doesn't exist unless you believe. And LOVE is one of them. If you believe anything is possible ! UNLESS, for example You believe you can fly. Anyone knows humans can't fly but you never know! The mind is a very powerful thing!!!

Real love isn't necessarily about being with a clone of yourself. It's often the differences that attract people to each other. What you want to look for are traits that complement yours. Some quintessentials should be the same (i.e. attitude towards money, attitude towards children, etc.), but other things that are different can add a bit of spice to your life.
