cooking outside the box is a really good cookbook that is meant for college students so everything is quick and easy and pretty generic for fussy eaters...

With fussy eaters you might want to find a way to make them less fussy, a great way is to try to get them to try new foods - make it into a competition, make a deal with them that you will try new foods too, whoever tries the most new foods after a week or a month gets a prize.

I'm sure you'll get lots of answers recommending Annabel Karmel - but don't fall for it - she's a smug witch who got her kids to eat liver at the age of 2 months...... Nigel Slater's recipes use normal ingredients that are readily available - just leave out the salt and chillies.

They do a few cook books for students in WHSmith and they all have really simple but nice meals in them.
Students don't want to waste valuable drinking time having to cook do they?!!

lets see...snack wise:
ants on a log is always a fovorite, take celery top with peanut butter, and let kids put, raisons on to look like ants on a log......
Apple lady bugs : slice red apples in half and core. place dabs of peanut butter on back and put raisons on dabs to look like spots.....take 2 matchstick pretzels and put raisons on one end of each then push into apple with opposite end too look like antennas.....

Prep Time:10 MinutesCook Time:30 MinutesReady In:40 MinutesServings:6 (change)

INGREDIENTS:
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 carrot, chopped
1 head fresh broccoli, chopped
2 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked and chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Steam carrots and broccoli in a covered pot for 3 minutes, until slightly tender but still firm.
In a large bowl, mix together carrots, broccoli, chicken, soup, milk, cheese, and salt. Spoon mixture into pastry-lined 9 inch pie pan and cover with top crust. Seal edges and cut steam vents in top.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
