Christians are confused whether they are liberal or conservative whether they know it or not. All human being are confused. I am a christian liberal. On the majority of issues I am liberal about. Some issues I am still not sure. Many people who are conservative or liberal christians are usually not 100% liberal or christian on every issue.

Jesus was a radical liberal. Liberalism as defined by Webster’s Third New International Dictionary: “a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of man, and the autonomy of the individual and standing for tolerance and freedom for the individual from arbitrary authority in all spheres of life…” Jesus created a whole new religion! HELLO, progress! "No average American would have a fair wage today if it weren’t for liberal Christians and labor activists. Liberal Christians and civil rights activists fought and still fight against conservative America for racial equality."
I'm just going to take a huge quote from this great article I found.
"Jesus was the ultimate liberal progressive revolutionary of all history. The conservative religious and social structure that He defied hated and crucified Him. They examined His life and did not like what they saw. He aligned Himself with the poor and the oppressed. He challenged the religious orthodoxy of His day. He advocated pacifism and loving our enemies. He liberated women and minorities from oppression. He healed on the Sabbath and forgave adulterers and prostitutes. He associated with drunks and other social outcasts. He rebuked the religious right of His day because they embraced the letter of the law instead of the Spirit. He loved sinners and called them to Himself. Jesus was the original Liberal. He was a progressive, and He was judged and hated for it. It was the self-righteous religionists that He rebuked and He called them hypocrites."(Vance, Gary)

Confused about what? Peace? Jesus liked Peace, He said "Blessed Be The Peace Makers". He liked caring for the poor, just like Liberals do. He did not like rich people, he threw money changers (meaning crooked priests like today's TV evangelists) out of the temple, and said "It is easier for a camel to walk thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God". That seems pretty clear. I think it is the conservative christians who are confused, they seem to be following the Anti Christ and rejecting everything Jesus actually said, don't you think?

Jesus was a liberal. So what is there to be confused about? Biblically documented teachings of Jesus Christ clearly show that Jesus is a Liberal. His philosophy, based in compassion, equality, inclusion, forgiveness, tolerance, peace and - most importantly - love, is 100% Liberal.

No, Jesus was quite the liberal. I think the conservatives are the confused ones.

A lot of (conservative and liberals) Christians are confused only because they do not read the Bible for themselves and allow their priests and or pastors interpret the Word of God for them.
On the other hand, they take it to another extreme by interpreting the Bible for themselves which is also wrong.
The bible says, precept upon precept, line upon line. If you truly seek the Truth, it will be presented to you.

No more so than conservative or middle-of-the-road Christians, I imagine. According to the stories, Jesus was pretty dang liberal, by our current standards. He drank wine, hung out with prostitutes and beggers, and preached pacifism.

You are asking the question as if being a liberal and being a Christian are mutually exclusive. 'Liberal Christian' and 'Athiest Christian' are different situations (since Athiest Christian doesn't make sense).
