I broke two ribs about a year ago, and was in tremendous pain.
Bad enough to go to the ER.
They told me to buy a rib belt and wear ir for at least 6 weeks, which I did. It just kinda helps everything stay in place when you're moving around.
I also got some pain pills, and they sent me on my merry way, telling me to check back with my regular physician in about 2 weeks.
Other than that. there's really nothing that can be done.
Just be careful bending over, and getting up from a sitting or lying position. OUCH !!!
Sorry.....no quick cure !

I dont think there is any quick cure,
I would reccomend you go to ur local gp , and get a xray done, and just check if it is broken.
But there is not much to do for broken Ribs - I have broken mine b4 , by falling off a skateboard, the best thing is to keep them warm , and rest

There's no quick cure for a broken rib. It'll take at least a month to fully heal.

The hospital will do is strap it up so it might be worth giving A & E a visit, try a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel and some paracetamol or another kind of pain relief

Known 2 people that broke their ribs. It hurts to even breathe. They cant put you in a cast. Sometimes they wrap gauze around your chest to give you some more support. But, it has to heal on its own. That takes some time. You have to be real careful.

no quick cure for a broken rib or separated ribs... you must wrap your midsection and keep it immobile for as long as possible.

take anti-inflammatories (ie. Motrin) and drink plenty of liquids.

see a doctor and get an x-ray to be sure.

Just take it easy until it goes away. Doctor w/give you painkiller, but that's about it and those actually slow the healing process...only use if needed. Ice or heat might make it feel better.
