Any religion that is carried to the extreme, and becomes an obsession, is bad! People have to know that they are free to observe any religion, as long as they don't force it on others!!!!! When they start forcing people to hear what they belive, when they start fighting others because they believe they are right.... then it is no longer a religion.... but a means to cause harm. Worship, live, enjoy what you believe in, and leave others to do the same, in peace and harmony. Some people already know this, and the ones that don't have a mental imbalance that should be corrected. No one's religion is the "one and only one" this people should learn to accept. I belive when this is finaly accepted, there will be true peace on earth. Blessed be

You are absolutely right. The main object of religion to worship God, to know the truth. Religion means just a path, a way to go closer, nearer to God. All religion makers have same object that is God, to find out God. But extremist forgot the same object that is God. And they started to force others to follow their religious beliefs. They even forgot their God's teachings. Thus religion extremist get so mad that they started to kill other religious believers. They don't think that they are doing any sin. In Afghanistan the ancient statues of Buddha's were destroyed. The reason only because God's statues are not allowed in Islam. In Pakistan girls are not allowed to play games on out door. In Muslim countries women are not allowed to show their face also. Like this they force others to follow their beliefs and rules even one would not be agree with. I think any religion's extremist have lost their capacity to know what is wrong and right. They don't think about their God but they only think about religion. So I think people should give more importance to God than religion. And God also would have expecting from their devotee the same.

I am positive that christianity is true, but Even I know that extreme religion hurts everybody, not just those practicing it.
Just so you know, I have never ever heard a real life christian say that people dont have the right to believe differently.

I don't believe in people forcing religion on others or fighting others to make them agree but part of the christian faith is sharing it with others. People should share in peace and harmony but not violance.

I also think extreme religion is bad, but it is a rare case. extreme religion is not very popular and you dont see many Christians running around with shot guns shouting "believe or die", many religions preatch to the public like Christian evangalism (but evangalism isnt extreme) or Jews clling out to the tourists. but preatching isnt to be mistkaen for extreme.
