It sure looks like it to me, ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, the total destruction of their infastructure, my sympathy now lies firmly with the folks in Gaza.

My sympathy is for Palestine as well, but I think the new Hitler is the president of Iran, Amedenejad. Or whatever the heck his name is.

Anyway, it's a shame how Israel went in took over the land, made themselves a successful country and treat the palestinians as moss underfoot. Literally living as neighbors, israeli will have water garbage and sewer service and the palestinian next door gets none of those yet still pays taxes. How digusting.

I think you are wrong. They have put up with the Palestinian Bull Crap for years. The constant bombings, constant terrorism from Hamas and now Hizbollah from Lebanon, with the kidnapping of the Israeli soldiers, and Hizbollah is also responsible for shooting missiles into Israel. All Israel is doing is forcefully defending their turf. Do I agree with the extremes they are taking, I don't know. Do I think it was right that the UN gave the Jews land that the Palestinians had been living in for centuries back in 1948, no. Israel has been a hotbed for problems since Jesus was crucified. Wow what a mess. It will never end until the Temple is destroyed and Jesus comes back.

The Palestinians had elections. They elected a terrorist organization, HAMAS, to be their leaders. This orgainization has vowed to destroy Israel. The people of Palestine are getting what they asked for, literally. They voted for it. Kind of hard to be sympathetic to that.

Before the elections, the western world provided the Palestinians with money. Millions of dollars worth of money. The Israelis gave the Palestinians money, lots of it. Any guess who was the largest contributor of money to the Palestinians?

The United States of America. And what do we get for our Dollar? Hate, if you believe the media. Many things were being done for the people of Palestine, from people and governments across the world.

Compare the Israelis with the Nazis? You might want to reread a history book or three. Israel is not fighting to exterminate a people, race, religion or state, they are fighting to keep from being exterminated, fighting for their right to exist.

Hezbolla, another terrorist group that has vowed the destruction of Israel.

I see no reason to sympathize with groups that have already declared war against Israel. Israel is simply taking the fight to them. They wanted war, they are getting it...

america is becoming fascist, israel has been moving towards fascism for many years. it's only american money that allows the israelis to maintain their social welfare state. if israelis had to pay for their own weapons you can bet they would sing a different tune when they have to protect every settlement out of their own pocket.. but american money has also militarized them to the point that just like america, they are dependent on war for their economy to function.

Quite frankly, I think the Israeli's have shown a great deal of patience over the years in dealing with suicide bombers, rocket attacks, and other ongoing assaults on their civilian populace.

Then you need a new pair of glasses my friend. The Israeli's are protecting their people. They are not starting any trouble, but they sure as hell have the right to defend themselves. They aren't try to take over and control, they only want to live in peace. If the Palestinians would just limit those suicide bombers to their own country and only kidnap their own people, no one would give a damn. Please use a little logic and common sense.

State of Israel was formed as a result of World War on the in the homeland of Palestinians who have been uprooted. We have to bury the past. It is in the interest of both groups to live in peace and co-operate with each other. Presently it is difficult but their is no alternative.

i think you have your facts wrong. the palestinians gave the gaza strip to the israelis. it was just a piece of desert and then the isrealis made it real nice. last year the palestines invaded and kicked them out. palestine is also lead by a group of terriorists right now, and they have been threatening israel. while threatening them they also ask them for money too. so no i dont blame isreal at all for going after them.
