Right now I am 5'10" (male)175lbs. I am skinny everywhere except my stomach and love handles. I'm going to hawaii in september, and want to walk around shirt off, and not feel self concious. What would be the most effective ways to accomplish my goals with in 2 months?

Please don't just say "diet and exercise" Im looking for more detail.

Diet and exercise is all that works. Even if you taking pills or on a quick weight loss diet...you still have to diet and exercise it says. So just skip the stuff thats bad for you. And start a food journal. Write down everything that hits your lips. Count cals or total fat grams. Keep cals between 1300-1600 and grams 20-30. Exercise 30 min. a day. Can be whatever you like..even walking. Walking is really good for you. Recommended by my dr. and I lost 100 lbs. on it. You can expect to lose 2-3 lbs a week.

Diet and exercise is how you get in shape but I'll try to go in to more detail.

Diet: Cut out the soft drinks. There are other drink options out there with fewer calories that still taste good (Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc). Eat healthier snacks when you get hungry between meals (yogurt, fruit, granola bars..). If you go out to eat, order a salad before your main course. You'll fill up on that and you'll have some of the main course to take home. Be a picky eater. Check out the nutritional information on the back of a package for the number of calories and what the serving size actually is. You can google this information and most of it is common sense anyway.

Exercise:
You need to get rid of the stomach fat by a combination of cardio and diet. You'll never see your abs if you don't get rid of that layer of belly fat. Go for a run, buy an exercise video, just find something to do that you enjoy and that increases your heart rate.

I reccomend signing up for a diet journal at fitday.com. You can keep track of how many calories you're consuming and see if there's anything you need to cut out of your diet. They also have a lot of exercises (for abs, legs, arms, whatever) on the website for you to choose from. It's definitely worth checking out.

Like I said before, diet and exercise is the answer to your problem. Concentrate on your diet and cardio routine to burn fat then do some ab exercises to tone up the area. You can always use google for more information on accomplishing your goal (actually yahoo's health section is a decent source of information so you might want to check out their diet and fitness section). What you need to do to lose pounds fast is to go on a no carb diet. Eat things such as any meat, poultry, fish, cheese, eggs, and any thing else that has 0 carbs. The best thing about this diet is that you can eat all you want. you can lose up to 2 pounds a week without exercise, but with exercise you can lose up to 5-6 pounds a week. by September you could weigh a normal 120 pounds and put on some muscle.

you will find a weight loss program and exercises in this article that will help you. also a weight mass index to tell the weight you should be. hope it helps you. there is a body building workout that does target certain areas of the body so that might help more with the stomach issue

If you live in the sun belt as the tempature soars, then go to your gym and do cardio, you'll sweat bullets. They should have a/c but it doesn't make much of a difference. Just don't overdo it

work out everyday....like swimming everyday works for me...i can usually drop pounds fast that way....but you do have to swim laps for like 45 minutes straight. make it routine, like everyday at 6pm you will go to the gym. try to cut back on calories. eat more vegetables and fruits, and you will be full on healthier food choices.
