I have been an actor for 20 years.

1) You shouldnt have accepted the role if this bothered you.
2) Since it does bother you, you have two choices:
A) Do the job you've accepted and get your first kiss at a
rehearsal. You could even think of that as fun.
You're gonna get a first kiss somewhere anyway.
B) Find someone you like, tell them your problem, and
get your first kiss from them - as practice.
3) REMEMBER - stage kissing is not "for real" any more than stage murders or stage sword fights.

A first kiss can be scary but it doesn't have to be. I'd heard so many horror stories about first kisses that I was worried that mine would suck and I wouldn't know how. But just go with the flow and try not to worry about it. It'll probably come naturally. And hey, if it's not a great kiss then don't focus on that, be able to laugh off the embarassing stuff. It gets better =) And well you know how the saying goes, practice makes perfect!

Good Luck!!

thats cute, your 12 and they're making you kiss a guy in a play? is this a school activity or is it a real play where you actually get paid? is the guy cute? or is he some 30 year old man?
if i were you, id consider whether i d feel comfortable kissing him or not, your way under age, so no one has the right to force you to do that. if he is some cute guy that you actually like then, if i were you, id just go along with it and have a goooood time.

well if you're just 12 I really hope they aren't expecting some deeply passionate kiss from you in front of all your friends and family. Probably just a peck will do, and anybody can do that! If you're still nervous, tell him about it and ask him if you can practice first without anyone watching. That could lead to some fun, but remember you're 12 and you don't need someones hands in your pants yet.

If you have to kiss on stage it will be a short kiss that you just put your lips together. Keep your lips soft and pucker up a little bit, most people close their eyes for the kiss too. It won't be hard at all to do because kissing on stage is probably going to be they type of quick short kiss that doesn't involve tongue.

WOW, your first time is with an older guy huh? Ok first just relax, I mean its only a kiss, you can't try to hard. The kiss can't be too fast it can't be too slow it has to be just right, now since its just a musical it doesn't have to be a french kiss, so just sit back and enjoy.
