It's probably where you don't get stopped all the way. That can tear the transmission out quick. If you are doing everything right then you should have a warranty if you got it worked on. Take it back to the people that fixed it and have them fix it again. No transmission fluid? They were supposed to fill it up! Take it back and make them fill it up. Put a tad bit in there so you can make it without the tranmission coming out.

If your holding the brake pedal down and your car is engaged in drive at the same time your giving it the gas it still wants to go ...
if you smell a burnt toast kind of odor that's the sign of a very serious transmission problem take it back to that mechanic he should make good for it.

It did not have any transmission fluid? verify for leaks if no leaks then they forgot to positioned the transmission fluid back in after fixing your transmission. this can kill your transmission its an same as driving without motor oil your gears receives decrease to rubble and its transmission its screw up get your criminal specialist waiting if that's the case.

Depends on the car, it sounds like a coil pack or plug wire.

DUDE YOU NEED TO CALL THE COMPANY THAT JUST RUINED YOUR TRANNY....CK AND SEE IF THE PLUG IS MISSING OR LOSE TO THE TRANSMISSION ITS LOCATED UNDER YOUR CAR. I HAD THE SAME PROB WITH A COMPANY THAT DIDNT TIGHTEN THE BOLT PROPERLY...LONG STORY SHORT I HAD TO REPORT THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THEY FINALLY FIXED MY CAR FOR FREE....GOOD LUCK

Sounds like the engine has a misfire, maybe its cross wired, or a bad plug or plug wires.
