Interesting philosophy - but highly unlikely...
Lets face it - the possiblity off extraterrestrial life is enormous, and is most likely possible. However, men in spaceships visiting earth 2000 years ago....and they still havent made themselves known to mankind on any real level besides myths??
I submit that what the Vatican guards is the true nature of the Church - that it is a man made institution that is based upon lies, designed to consolidate financial and governmental powers in a time when people were much less intelligent and were searching for answers. The Church realized it could corner the market with lies and deceit. They suceeded for quite sometime.....
Then, in the early 1300's, the Templars retruned from Jerusalem and went straight to the Pope for a conversation. When they left, the folowing day the Pope issued an edict sdaying that the Templars were a power unto themselves and could not be controlled by any government. Within years, the Templars managed to amass a fortune in lands, treasures and power....and they held it for some time. Then, becoming increasing upset with the fact that they were gaining more power and wealth than the Church, the Pope and King of France had them all exiled or killed by lying about the Templars.
No one to this day knows exactly what the Templars found beneath the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. But whatever it was, they were sucessful at blackmailing the church with the information. That info could only have been the true nature of the church...which is why the Vatican is willing to protect it to the death...if it got out, the church would experience the ulitmate death. It would cease to exist, like every religion before it (Egyptian myths, Aztec polytheism, human sacrifice...Christianity is well on its way to this slow death as well...)

That is a valid theory. I truly don't know what I think but maybe. Notice in many very old works of biblical art there are flying discs in the sky above the people in the picture, even in the one of Jesus being baptized. I have read about the ancient astronaut theory and believe it it very possible. I have read that Jesus may have been a product of artificial insemination. I have read the Gospel of Peter from the lost books of the bible. It tells of Jesus' death and Resurrection and it really sounds like his Resurrection according to this scripture could have been alien related.

Well . . . really, may be. . . .
But that 3rd kind must have read Old Testament, and get all the prophecy right. HUm . . . may be in those days, the 3rd kind already have P4 computer to calculate the prediction, and get married preganent.
Err. . . . also the 3rd kind also well verse with Old T, and taught Jesus what to says. . . and all the saying fits the prophecies.
The 3rs kind also know the death from Isaish 53, and taught Jesus how to react when the roman soldiers tortured him. And also arranged for the death on the cross.
Err. . . come to think of it, if I were to believe that the 3rd kind really arrange all these, i think it is better for me to believe just what the bible says. Yea? Simplier yea?

I personally think you are grasping at straws...But, There is an interesting web site I ran into the other day when I was looking up info on the lost gospel of Peter. Anyway, the site is http://www.bibleufo.com. Some pretty wild stuff on there, but I guess some of it is just as believable as say, Jonah being in the belly of a big fish for 3 days...Anyway, glad to see you have stopped bashing and asking non-bias questions today.

Hello Fanmail.. :)
Jesus is not a product of a close encounter of the 3rd kind..
For Jesus is a product of God..the First and the Last Kind..
Well Glory..Alleluia..Amen
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

Oooo now that's a stretch, LOL
Everyone is looking for a way to minimize Christ's impact here on earth. This isn't a new concept by any means. I just accept him for the Messiah he is and leave the speculation for doubters and cynics.

The Jesus myth is a product of plagiarizing older 'crucified savior' legends.
