I asked him about it and he denied even saying that. but later on that evening he pulled his little cousin in the room and asked her why did she tell me that. i want to know why would he say something like that about me and especially to his little cousins.

That would be a pretty wacky way of telling kids that sodas bad, he should give facts rather than throwing your life span around. Thats got to creep you out hearing him imply that your days are numbered. All of ours are but, thats just odd. Not only that, but is this a guy you want to have a future and kids with, because with that kind of reasoning the kids will have issues.

Too much pop can affect your health, and maybe he wanted his cousins to slow down on the pop. Why he lied to you makes no sense to me but don't trust him just because he lied to you about something that really didn't make any difference.

maybe trying to teach them that drinking sodas is one of the most unhealthy things you can do . That is a little to extreme though
