Darkness does not go anywhere. It is only an absence of something. In this case light, being something, filled the space which had no light.

I guess like air and a vacum. Light is the process that vacums the darkness.

in That particular space it is gone but...... all around darkness prevails wall sockets behind walls darkness is wholly natural like space but... it needs to be manipulated for us humans to maneuver within it and live

It is still there but the light is reflecting off it and you can not see it.
