The POW is placed in a room with two doors and two guards. One door leads to death and the other to freedom. One guard will always tell you lies and the other guard will allway tell the trueth. Not knowing which door to take and not knowing which guard is which, what one question can the POW ask of only one of the guards that will send him through the door to freedom.

soccergurl19034, you have a good point. There are those times, however, when the attendants of POW camps need to release prisoners to make room for more or to help barter agreements with their enemies. This though is a mind game or puzzle just for fun.
