I do not call my self a christian,but a child of God and the answer would be yes,I would say I have my faith in God.Ever hear of a gun blowing up in someones face?

I'm often asking myself that question... most likely, I would avoid answering while I looked for a way to turn the tides in my favor.

if I couldn't see an obvios way to turn the tides, then I don't know what I'd say... in a stressed situation I most often start negotiating, so I guess that's what I would wind up doing, then he get's mad and shoots me... but I guess that would happen ether way.

but if god is on my side then I still might live... did you here about the guy that got 7 45. cal bullits put in his fourhead? and then almost beat the guy that shot him to death with a baseball bat? the guy with the gun tride suing, but they decided that you can't expect someone to think clearly when they have 7 bullits in their head. and I've seen X-rays and stuff for tuns more stories that are very much alike, it's almost as if some peoples brains don't count as a vital spot.

This reminds me of an email I got... I'll make it shorter than it was.
Right before the preacher started his sermon two men with guns came in the back of the church. They looked around the congergation and said, "If anyone is willing to take a bullet for Jesus then stay seated."
In a minuet the chior had run off, the nursery workers had evacuated the kids, and half the deacons and trusties had left. Only a handful remained.
The two men turned to the preacher and said, "You can start your sermon now, sir."

Just because people say they are christians doesn't mean they really are. Going to church doesn't make you a christian, having Jesus in your heart does.

Thanks for this question. Hopefully people will take sometime to examine theirselves to find the truth. We all need to sit back and examine our hearts to see where we are.

I would say yes. No one knows exactly how they would react in the situation, but even if someone had a gun to my head I can't imagine saying no, I don't believe in God.

I pray that I would. But no one really knows what they will do when they are faced with that situation. If you are an atheist and someone holds a gun up to your head and asks you to say that you believe in God, would you?

Yes. I'd be very nervous, but I've been in dangerous situations before (outside of the walls of the church of course) and I focused on Him all of the sudden this peace and supernatural faith came over me, and the words to say, I was stunned! He delivered me. (I could could give you a couple of testimonies) but the point is you CAN find yourself in threatening situations like that, that doesn't mean you're not afraid.

I would have to. Not because it is required of me, but because I couldn't face my God at the Bema seat knowing that I failed him in the most crucial point in my life. Peter denied him three times before the rooster crowed on the day of his death. He was scared, he didn't want to die. But it wasn't all about Peter, it was all about Christ and his sacrifice. When Christ approached him after the Resurrection and before ascension, he asked him three times, "Simon Peter, do you love me?" and when Peter answered, "You know I do," Christ then said, "Take care of my sheep!" He never said, why did you renounce me, he still had a place for him and a purpose. I don't think it is a matter of having enough faith, but more a matter of what is it God wants you to do with your life.
