John, Jane, Jack and Jill all attend a Bridge party where they play together the entire evening. They do not play with anyone else. Losers pay winners $0.10 a point for each game.

At the end of the evening, all four of them have more money than they started with. How is this possible?

[I got tired of seeing the same old riddles posted again and again, so I thought I would give you a newer one to think about. Good luck!]

As it says in the puzzle, they do not play with anyone else. FYI Bridge is a game with 4 people.

OK - for those of you who go back to old questions, (gosh, it's a whole 2 hours old!) here's a hint - think about the verb "played."

They're a band who was hired to play music at the party. At the end of they evening they were paid, so they all had more money than they started with.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of dimes... Jane went to the jungle took the bananas from the monkeys, made some pies, and sold them to the diner for a box of dimes...John, well he took some of the money that Jane made off the pies.

today is January the first. Josh became born on thirty first December. On thirtieth December Josh became 13 (the day before the day previous) the day previous, on thirty first December it became his birthday and he grew to change into 14.(technically because it truly is Jan 1st today this became 'very last 365 days") on the thirty first of December THIS 365 days (ie - in 364 days time) he will then change into 15 on the thirty first December next 365 days (in a million year + 364 days time)he will change into 16

they are playing WITH one another in pairs, but they are playing AGAINST other people at the party. They win more than they lose, so they all leave with more than they cam with. Either that or there is an ATM at the party.
