this guy i liked last year.. and he knew that. but he was a total jerk.. and basically i hate him now.. i haven't seen him for a long time. lately he has been sending me abrupt text messages which make no sense like they were meant for someone else. and once i responeded but he didnt answer so i just let him send crap. but i cant understand is he doing it on purpose or he genuinely makes mistakes in sending it to the wrong person? such mistakes never happened before only in the past one month.

He's doing it on purpose. It would only be an accident if you all text each other regularly and he responded to the wrong name. But since that's not the case he had to have either selected your name out of his phonebook or put your number in. My sister's friend who liked her would do that. He would send some crazy text message that looked like they were for someone else so that she would respond to them, and then act like he didn't know what she was talking about. He finally admitted that he did it so that she would talk to him, since she didn't always return his calls. He probably was thinking about you and wanted to see how you were doing, but since he's a jerk he'd rather play games on your phone instead of making a sincere call.

He is just too proud to come out straight. Some how you must still be on his mind for him to be sending you such messages either mistakenly or otherwise. Guess he is still the same jerk you have always known him to be. Waste not your time with him.

He regrets that he didn't jump on the opportunity when he had it. Now, he's trying to back peddle his way somewhere, thinking that if you respond to him in any way- he can get a second chance. People play games. There is sometimes no rhyme or reason. At times people act like perceived jerks, because they are nervous and their defense mechanism takes over. I use humor and act like an alien when I'm nervous, anxious, intimidated, etc. Often, I seem like a jerk too ...

The message is intended for you! To work on your mind - pave the step to a comeback! (I guess your first response wasn't positive)

If I were him, I would stand before you, admit my stupidity (if I really was...) and say it loudly, "I LOVE you, and its driving me crazy!"
