We never talk on the phone, but just when I'm about to break up with him he does something so sweet like taking me to a fancy restaurant Or getting me a present, like jewelry. I love him so much, but if we never communicate and just make out, can this relationship last???

Nope, this relationship can't work. If you can't communicate with your significant other, the relationship is a headed for disaster. I think your relationship is based more on lust than love. It sounds to me that your boyfriend only wants you to be there so he has someone to make out with. Talk to him and tell him how you feel. If she showers you with gifts again, understand that it is time for you to kick him out of your life.

When you LOVE someone really badly, you get to lose yourself - something you always pay for later. You want to and do overlook even the most terrible behaviour they possess.
A successful relationship can only exist if there is good communication! You are not communicating!

I predict it will last as long as you let yourself be jerked around and as long as you think that each time he does something sweet, things will change. Been there, done that, got the t shirt and it never changed.

it can last for how ever long you want it to. if money is more important then your happiness then you will never leave. try talking to him and let him know how you feel the worse that can happen is you guys will break up but it seems that he cares for you so my guess would be that he will try to chage for you. good luck
