hairbrush lint removal?

I have an old haribrush with nylon bristles and lint has wrapped around the bristles. It can not be picked out as it is tightly wrapped around the bristles. Does anyone have an easy solution to clean this brush? thanks

soak it in hot water and shampoo solution. Then use a comb to remove the lint.

Buy a new one. You should change it every couple of months anyway because of bacteria.
