Flea products take a while to work so do not fret. Unlike the other people that have posted I actually looked up information about Frontline for another question and IT DOES kill adult fleas and flea eggs/larvae. You just need to be patient. It will work. Until then go to a pet store and get an anti-itch cream. Your dog is just itching from the bites which will subside once all the fleas are gone. For a truly thorough cleaning, you need to make sure you also use a premise spray on carpets, etc to make sure that you get all fleas. They don't just stay on the dog, they like to get into tight cracks as well.
Good luck and stick with the Frontline. Just a warning...do not use additional flea products unless you call the Frontline 1-800 number and get their advice.

Frontline ought to kill fleas interior about 18 - 24 hours, yet once you've fleas in the surroundings (both at your position of living or backyard), they are going to nevertheless be round. the most acceptable attitude is to apply Frontline Plus on your canines, and then take care of your position with a flea-fogger (or flea-bomb) form product. this blend frequently works very effectively. also, be particular you're making use of the most perfect dosage of the preventative medicine. it really is calculated with the help of weight of your canines, and in case you employ a product for a much smaller canines it really is purely not powerful adequate. be careful to also not OVERDOSE both. making use of a product means designed for a higher canines may reason very, very serious complications so be careful.

Hi there, this only repels new fleas, won't get rid of old ones. I suggest going to your vets or a groomers and asking for a flea bath. Your dog will thank you for it later, and make sure you keep giving him his Frontline the same time each month. I do mine on the 1st of the month, so when I pay my rent, I'm reminded I have to do the Frontline. =)

I think in a couple of hours it takes effect.
To be itching like crazy, maybe the dose you gave was too much? I know smaller dogs have the same dosage as cats not the same as a medium dog.
If this is not the case maybe he's allergic to it and it's best to check this with the vet.

give it time and don't rewash your dog.
i use this on my dog and it took a few days or maybe a week before i noticed a difference.
it works with the oils on your dogs body . it has to have time to spread through out his whole body. that is why you shouldn't wash them until it is working.
but it really works once it kicks in.
my dog was losing his hair because of fleas making him scratch so much. we tried everything and this was the only thing that works
