It is a good idea to review your MSDS every year. You should checking for an updated MSDS by the manufactorer every three years. An MSDS is good as long as there isn't a change in the chemical properties or the way it is made.

Really you should get a new MSDS each time your reorder the product. Sometimes the manufacturer changes some of the ingredients. I am assuming here that you are speaking of liquid chemicals. On the other hand, a product like copper or monel would have the same chemical content for several years, and therefore not need an updated MSDS.
