(2) Programming -- your chemistry sets you "want" sex --the positive reward baby!
(3) Defines you as a human and parent -- you can either make sex the means that you have fun and show your responsibility as a person and future parent, or you can use sex irresponsibility to show that you are lower on evolution scale than a dog. Dogs hump anything in public but at least they form a pack to raise their young.
