We get it sometimes, and then we no longer desperately want it.

Hi
Im honored to answer ur question. Actually to say it happens very often to me too. That too, if its positive I seek it doesnt happen, but if its anything negative it happens horrifyingly.
But its destiny, we feel like that thats it. Its matter of the attitude and positive thinking which one lacks when depressed or not have self confidence. Also it happens when we expect more of something or someone. We share our love and care and others dont have time to respond. We should stop expecting and do things without any expections.
Try this , it helps and my sincere advice is dont ever get obbessed to anything or anyone, as everything in this universe has an expiry date, even relationships, we cant blame any. The one whos ever with us is our own soul and God...Cheer Up
Bye

its like looking for love all the time... stop looking and it'll most probably happen when u least expect it but as for lets say getting a car... you have to work for it ! If you want something you have to put some effort into it and not expect everything to be served to you on a silver platter just because you WANT it DESPERATLY

It depends on how difficult the desired object is for a person to achieve...
If desires are realistic, then they get achieved quicker. But after an object is achieved, the human mind want's more...
So one tends to remember only what is not achieved while it forgets the zillions of things already achieved...

The trick is to remove all your wants and desires and instead focus on your needs. That way, anything else that comes your way will be a bonus!

The answer is simple we want what we dont have, as soon as we get it, we no longer want for it.
the same reason you find something in the last place you look for it.
If you really want this bike, you want it want it want it, you get it for Christmas, now that you HAVE it, you no longer WANT it.

Well, first of all, it isn't all about getting what you want, it's about having what you need.
