I really like this guy since i was in college and i have always for years feel the same about him. We hook up a few weeks ago and whenever i call him he always answers his phone or if i dont get him he calls me back or send me a text within 10 mins. A few days ago he left his phone in a taxi for a whole day and a half and got it back the next day. I was worried because this was an unusual behaviour 'knowing him the way i do' so when he got back his phone from the cab driver he saw 30 missed calls from me and he said that calling him so may times was crazy and that i didnt have to call so many times because that is trivial
What do U think?

Sounds a bit obsessive. A friend of mine is married to a woman like this, & it's about to drive them to a divorce. This is compounded by the fact she doesn't like him to leave her unless he's at work. We hardly see each other without her around (probably 6 times in the past 4 years, & 4 of those were this past month when he was on leave). Well, he came into town to hang out with me while his car was in the shop. We hung out for 6 hours, & she called over a dozen times in that span of time. This is absolutely nuts.
In your case, I can understand you may have called a bit too much out of concern, but it almost sounds like you two talk a little more frequently than is recommended anyway. Perhaps you should just let him know you were truly concerned for him, & taper off the calling quite a bit. Once a day is more than plenty. If you don't reach him, leave a message asking him to call if he wishes to talk today, & leave it at that. Things will be a lot better for you both if you do. Best of luck.

If he calls you back within 10 minutes every single time, out of the blue he just didn't call back at all. Of course, you would get worried; 30 calls was not crazy at all because you had no clue that he had left his phone in a taxi. For all you knew, he could have got into some kind of life threaten matters. If I were you, I would have called his friends, his work place, and whoever that may know his where about just to make sure that he is alright.
I had similar problem on my wedding day. One of my groomsman was missing. He didn't call me and he just wasnt' there. I called his friends, his work place and nobody knew where he was. So, in a way, I know exactly how you felt when you didn't hear anything back from your friend.

I'm amazed someone that went to college doesn't realize that calling someone 30 times and not getting an answer is stupid. Take the hint! If you want a relationship with this person, you'd better back off. Men like to chase, not be chased.

i think callin 30 time is to much now if u called him a few time meaning 4 or 5 times over a peiod of the day that would work but u should leave a message instead of callin all day
