Sometimes it can, but this depends entirely on the subject's inclination to recall past lives. The majority of people have a block that won't let them remember having lived before, because for them past-life recollection would be of no use in the present life, or might actually cause problems.
The paranormal is overflowing with frauds and con artists, so everyone should be very skeptical about believing anything that someone else tells them about their past or future. The only person who really knows your past lives is you. If you want to remember, you can, often through meditation, dreams, even self hypnosis. A good book on the subject is "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Past Life Regression" by Michael Hathaway.
One excellent website on the subject of rebirth is http://www.childpastlives.org

I don't really believe that retrogressive hypnotism can provide evidence of this simply because of the state that hypnotism puts the subject into. The hypnotized subject is very susceptible to outside influence while in that state and will often times respond in a certain way due to those influences, whether they be accidental or intentional influences. I would be interested in seeing the results of that research that Almazzing1331 mentioned, though. Just because I don't believe it to be credible doesn't mean I am so close minded as to not want to check out some actual scientific research on this subject. :)

Not completely. I believe in reincarnation but not that we are just thrown into another body when we die. I believe that our souls are akin to water. When we are made our bodies (the cup) is mostly filled with the stuff of souls. we immediately take on some of the qualities of the cup (hereditary traits) and as we go through life our experiences flavor and color our souls. When we leave this life our cup is emptied back into the pool that is the collective consciousness. And as water, it disperses outward. As the next cup is filled some of that color can be taken to the new cup. This can account for a past experience but I don't feel that anybody's complete soul is reborn into the next life.

Reincarnation is proof all around you. Why should a person be given only one life he being poor, sick, underprevilidged, disadvantage to others in much better position in life.
How can he accept his life in comparission to others, where is the justification of a loving God in all this.
He must come to terms with karma and know that he is paying for his bad karmas in a past life, thus his present one.
We are always being born and reborn to work out our bad karmas.
Its never about our material status, but our personal upliftment for the better.

No because hypnotism has already been proven for what it is. Remember when they were using it for all those "repressed memoriies." Yeah that fad died as soon as it was admitted that those memories were in alot of cases PLANTED.
