Sleep as much as you can the day before, then you'll be able to stay up all night

Actually the more sugar intake will cause you to be drowser. If you are going to try the sugar, try natural ones ex. fruits and vegies. If it is the beginning of the day and night you choose, eat lots of carb earlier they will provide energy but by the evening you will have burnt most (if energetic) then you may need boosters such as coffee. Also I have found drinking extra amounts of water throughout the entire day helps me.

Noo,sugar does not help at all. Sugar can give you energy but your body will want to get rid of it very rapidly, and you will get quite excited, and after your body gets rid of the sugar you will be very tired and fall asleep.
To stay up all night I recommend you what most students do: Drink a lotta coffee and take some aspirins.
Caffeine will keep you up as long as you wish.
Of course be careful and don't overpass your limits please.

Sugar and Caffeine are only temporary fixes - when their effects wear off, you crash harder.

If I know I have to pull an all-nighter, I try to get extra sleep the day before. I'll also do things like keep the lights on brighter and have music or TV or something on in the background, too.

No lots of sugar doesn't help. Stay up as long as you can and then when you start to feel extremely tired...watch tv or play a game online.....just do something that preoccupies your mind and soon you won't be way tired anymore. Thats what I do. Its almost 10am and I haven't slept yet.

That is insane! Why would you want to do that?
If it is for studying it is a terrible idea. Going through the stages of sleep help you form memories. If you stay up to cram for an exam or something like that it won't do you any good if you can't remember what you studied!

Do something you are enjoying. As long as you have fun you can stay awake. Once you start getting bored the tiredness will kick in. Also, once daylight comes back, the sun will help you to stay awake, so if you can, go outside once the sun is back up and you should be fine.

Exercising produces natural chemicals within your body that will keep you awake. A good workout will give you a couple of hours of alertness. Take care, though. You need to eat healthy and drink a lot of water or sports drink. And remember, if you overdo it, your body will wind itself down.

How many days would you like. The best way to cheat sleep when your into your third or fourth day is to chew sunflower seeds. It physically impossible to split sunflower seeds and get sleepy because it keeps your subconscious active. Its how long haul truck drivers drive such long hours.
