I'm getting my haircut today. I have really dull hair because its so flat and boring, so I was wondering what I should ask the hair cutting lady. Right now it sits on my shoulders and its dyed blonde. I was thinking I need layers or something. I am open to any ideas.
(I am a girl, by the way)

If you want to give some body to flat, straight hair, you really need to layer it to give it some fullness. If you can handle short hair, I'd go with that, because the more length you have, the more your hair is weighed down.

I get a body perm about every three or four months so I can wear my hair curly, blow it dry with a casual full look or set it with a curling iron for those loopy loo curls. I would definitely suggest a body perm if you want to keep your hair at shoulder length.

There are some products out on the market that will add volume to your hair, but many simply weigh it down. Ask your hairdresser for some advice on this. Good luck.

Well the longer your hair is, the less bouncy it will be.
Go for something shoulder-length with lots of layers.
Layers are key!

Get lots of chunky layer cut in and use bedhead styling products. They're the best for flat hair!

it really is effortless to lose 40 to one hundred hairs an afternoon(in case you wash your hair on a daily basis). To blow dry and flat iron whenever you wash your hair, you're walking the prospect of risky your hair. in case you take advantage of a product that protects your hair from the nice and cozy temperature of the blowdryer and the flat iron, you'll help a valuable deal in competition to damage. once you're using frizz eaze or pantene, ignore IT! Too a lot alchohol! Use a large product! Like Redken to guard in competition to warm temperature.

Layers, and take off more length because the shorter it is, the thicker it looks and feels! =)
