I like the way he took the time to write a rebuttal to a satirical article, it shows how much he believes in his ridiculous cause.

Article not there, but i can't say which one I am, i do agree with womens right to choose, but in the same sense abortion is the murder of life, a human life. What really pisses me off is women that want to use abortion as a form of birth control. Although some cases abortion can be justified such as when it becomes a health issue to the baby or the mother, non the less it's tought to be one or the other, i'm sorta stuck in the middle.

Ok, now that i read the article, that type of women is the kind I am against. People know the consequences of sex, and they know that not all contraceptives will work 100%. If they are in the right state of mind to have sex, then they should be in the right state of mind to know that they might end up pregnant. Abortion is a form of murder, the baby might not be fully developed but it is a human life. If women cannot take care of the child, there are many other options such as adoption agencies and such. Abortion should never be used for birth control purpouses.

HAHAHAHAHH!!!!!! What an IDIOT!! doesnt the person that wrote that blog post know that the Onion is a SATIRE?! It's not real, its a joke... LOL The Onion is a satirical fake newspaper. That's just too funny that they took it seriously.

I'm pro-choice by the way. Abortion is not murder when done properly. Late term abortion is a bad thing but i would preffer that a mother abort her child over trying to raise that child in an environment that would have a negative impact on their growth and development into a healthy individual.

The article in that blog seems to seriously discuss an article in The Onion. The Onion is a well known satirical site. Which makes the writer of the blog either
* a poor satire writer, him/herself
* clueless
Anyway, I'm pro choice.

Being Pro-Life is not a "ridiculous cause."
The Onion is a satirical paper, however, and should not be taken as serious. It would be appropriate to criticize them for making light of a serious issue, however, it is their choice what they publish. Actually, I feel that the article did more to put down pro-choice people than it did to put down pro-lifers, and I feel we, as pro-lifers, should not look at this article as an attack, but an exaggeration of a "choice" that shows just how serious it is by portraying it lightly.

You quote the Onion to make a point?

Man that is just a made up newspaper that is 100% satire on everything. I mean it is good for what it is, a piece of creative writing.

I once saw a "news" article in there about a man getting a heart transplant with the heart of a mouse - should I take that seriously?

Yes I'm pro-life. A woman has the right to choose anything she wants, but should never be given the right to choose murdering the most defenseless life in the womb.

If I chose to kill my 1 week old baby in the crib, I'd go to prison. What's the difference between killing in the crib and killing in the womb? A few days.

I say make abortion illegal, unless the life of the mother is at stake. In the case of rape, I'm not decided.

The woman who has her child slaughtered, and the Dr who does the slaughtering, will both have to face murder charges in God's court. Woe be them.

Hi there!       Are you   Peter Shinn?

The same guy who thought the article from The Onion about abortion was serious?

Funny story that is.

To answer your question though; I am pro-choice.
I believe that it's a woman's choice to decide whether she wishes to keep or terminate her pregnancy. This is a right that should be protected.
I don't believe that being pro-choice makes one any less pro-life.
God bless!

awwwww, i wish i could read the article

but pro-life, most of the time (maybe crack baby's would be better off in heaven from the start, instead of being forced to live)

there are too many good people willing to adopt baby's to not be pro-life

***thanks for fixing the link, i read it***

she is a pathetic excuse of a person
i wish her parents would have been pro-choice and killed her

Haha you should've linked first to the article in The Onion, then to out-of-context reaction on the blog. But this is more fun, I agree. Why can't some people take a joke about killing babies? :P
