I think that message boards are a great place to get the kind of help that a therapist would do for you. An ear to listen, a bit of advice, an occasional straightforward comment to wake you up from a delusion. But this is good for only moderate help. It is far better to meet people in person for support. And if you have serious problems, like schizophrenia, you will need a lot more than a message board or support group. That requires serious prayer, psychologists, ministers and medication.
