If you're just behind on one payment, the financing company will charge you a late fee for that month. As long as you make your next payment on time and pay off the prior month along with the late fee, you're OK (and the finance companies usually won't report one late payment to the credit reporting agencies). Any time a payment becomes over 30 days overdue, the financing company can repossess the car, but they'll usually give you one chance to pay whatever you owe and get your payments up-to-date before they haul it away.

Running it with an expired sticker is another issue. You can be pulled over and ticketed for driving on an expired sticker, but some states will issue you a "fix-it" ticket where you can get the ticket rescinded as long as you get a new sticker for it within ten days. Now, if the car gets repossessed with an expired sticker, the finance company can charge you for the cost of getting a new sticker as well.

No more car, ruined credit rating, nothing good will come from this. And for an expired sticker a fine and he or she will still have to buy a sticker.

the car will get reposed, along with everything in the car, he'll have to pay all of the money he owes to get the car back, and you can't hide from the repo man, he'll find you! usually when you're at work or in bed

for the expired sticker, he'll have to pay a fee, depending on the state, they could suspend his license (I think)

he is pushing his luck, his day is definately coming!!!
