As a father of 5 boys, there are several things to consider. 1- what are your needs and wants? (Do you need an SUV and want Mustang GT. ) 2- What can you afford? Is money an object, poor credit, great credit, even better lots of cash. ( You can get a really good deal with cash). 3- Can you get pre- approved for a loan? ( They will tell you, based on your credit, regardless of the auto you want the max. amount they will lend you.) 4- Find a local dealership with a good repetition? ( A smaller dealer ship is USUALLY are more willing to work with you on the price?) 5- Used or new? ( Used , in my opinion, is always better.) Also buying from a individual person vs. a dealership is better. (my opinion) You can find really good deals and neg. the price down.
Now to the matter of your Question? GMC, Chevrolet, Ford All make very dependable and safe cars, trucks, and SUV's. Under these I would choose a hybrid for flue economy. Good luck. Scott B

OR, my other favorite car would be a 1998-2001 Nissian Skyline because they are one of the BEST import cars out on the market right now. BUT this is just my opinion u choose what u think is the best.
