My fella of 10 months has just dumped me. He started seeing someone new.
l always got the feeling that l was more into him then he was into me.
On Valentiens Day l got him a cd (rem) specail edition that l knew he'd love, a little cuddly toy and some sweets.
None of it really cost alot, but l knew he'd like it all and l loved the fact that he liked the gifts.
He got me Jordans book, at half price from Tesco's and a card.
He was going to buy me flowers but thought they were cheesy even though he knew l would have loved them, but he said he did think about and thats what counts. l was with him for 2 months b4 l slept with, so l dont think he saw me as cheap, but l was a bit hurt by getting a book, even though l'd said l'd like to read it, that didnt mean l wanted it on one of the romantic days of the year.
Ae men just stupid or was he just an a r s e.

Let the guy go.
The fact that he doesn't care about you as much as you do about him is proof enough that you're better off without him.

I had an ex that whenever we would argue he would say if you knew better then you would do better and it took me four years to know better and to do better so I'm going yo tell you he isn't right for you and trust me you certainly can do better and I'm more than sure that it is just the being alone that has you wanting him back so I say If you dont stand for anything then you will fall for anything. What do you stand for I hope it's not letting people run all over you! Good luck mama!

Men are not very good at choosing gifts so i would not read to much into his choice of gift. If is now seeing someone else then it is time for you to stop dwelling on it and move on. I know it hurts honey but you will get over him, just give it time. The longer you keep going over everything that happened in your relationship, the longer it will take for it to heal!! Just let it go and move on. Take care x

i don't really think it's proof you are better off without him? for other reasons, maybe. but for this specific one, no. men are so much worse off then women when it comes to buying gifts. you should be amazed that he actually remmebered what book you wanted, let alone the fact that he even bought you presents. women, we can find presents for men and we usually find things that have "sentimental value." we pass the shopping for eachother department with flying colors. men, they're still only on level 1 of a level 100 game.

I just think that he wasn't perceptive to your needs and wants..
it doesn't make him stupid..it doesn't make you mean..but perhaps you should open up more....maybe you didn't drop enough hints for presents on V-day...It happens. Guys don't have the super long attenea that girls do for finding out what a guy would absolutely love..you kind of have to rub their nose in it for them to go.. "OOH OK!" Its silly..but it works.
But if he is already withsomeone else..then I think you are prolly better off with out him..especially if you guys just broke up...Just move on nd don't look back..its the best thing to do.

I would just move on. At the end of the day you can find someone better, just remember not all men are stupid just some!
Everyone knows a girl gets more into a boy before he gets into her, maybe you just rushed yourself into it more than he did, i dunno, only you will know the answer to that.
He bought you the book because you said you would like to read it, so at the time of him buyin you the book he was thinkin of what you said, and heh at least he listened to you when u said you would like to read it and not ignored you... i think you are looking at it a bit harsh.
I would just move on tho find someone new!

it should not matter what you give, the idea behind it, it counts

Yes, you are better off without him. Babes, there are plenty of fun, loving individuals in this world who want to be with you. Dont waste your time over somebody who is not worth your attention

Your head thinks it's better but you are just currently emotionally tied up with your ex. Let go of someone who already have cheated on you or no longer love you.
