Thats it We drink it for its calming properties. If it does the job - and soothes the nerves, that should really be enough, shouldn't it?

The action of brewing really good tea and just taking the time to drink it can be calming (but this works with taking the time to make any drink properly and then sitting down to drink it). Personally I like the taste of tea so that makes it work even better

I think tea lacks flavor and caffiene-two of the things I want. That's why I've switched to coffee. Tea is very calming... but nothing could compare to a good hot cup of coffee in the morning.

Certain teas are said to, like Camomile, but I drink tons of tea, and do not notice any effects from it.
