This can vary a lot. I wouldn't worry too much. Daytime potty trained by 5, and all-time potty trained by 6 are probably the "outer limits" of normal. As long as there is nothing that seems dysfunctional about why he's not potty trained yet, then I would wait until the listed ages then consult with a doctor. There are a few physical problems that can cause this.
Ordinarily, if you wait until they are ready, it should go smoothly.

yes,my three year old daughter(she will turn 4 this september) is already potty trained at the age of 1.She stopped wearing diaper at age 2,only wears pull-ups when we're going for a long drive. Now, she's going to school i have no problems in case she has to pee or poo.

Yes! My nephew was being potty trained at 1. He just turned 3 and has been pottytrained since he was 2.

Yes children learn at different speeds but most boys should be trained by 3 years definitely before nursery school you should start training now

yes but do try not to use alot of force because it can delay being trained. It takes a lot of time and consistency to potty train.

Some are, some aren't. One of my brothers was 4 before he was finally potty trained. He brags about it because my mom took him out for ice cream, probably because she was so relieved that it was finally done!

Yeah, but everybody developes at different stages so just because he isn't it doesn't make him any less smart or developed. He just hasn't caught on, it's not a big deal I'm sure he'll catch on eventually. It's if he's ready for kindergarten and isn't then your mom may want to take him to a doc.

Yes yes yes. you really need to push at that. Most day cares and pre - k's won't take students unless their potty trained so its important.
