How can I disable its background playing? (i.e when i exit, it continues playing!)

I recommend you uninstall it as it is still in Beta format and still has bugs. Good luck!

Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and bring up the task manager. Go to processes and end the process of all the wmplayer.exe thats running in your system. When you end the process of wmplayer then it will get rid of it running in the background.
