Try only foods he likes for awhile. Then gradually add the veggies & other stuff he doesn't like.
Try dry cheerios, so he can pick them up himself.
Or small pieces of bananas he can squish then eat.

Did you feed him any baby food ever? It's possible that he's not ready to make the change or he just doesn't like what you're giving him. Also, a big factor I've found is the amount of teeth a child has... My second son didn't like to eat a lot of things because it was just too difficult for him so he immediately gave up until he grew more teeth. Even though it may seem to be nutritionally weak, try bananas and yogurt. Both of my boys ate that for a month straight... there was no way to get them to eat anything else! Their cousin did the same thing but worse; that lasted for at least 6 months! Just supplement with vitamin drops. Good luck Dad!

What kind of food are you offering him? Try the gerber bananas in the jar. Never knew a baby who didnt love it. Start with food he will take and then gradually, add the vegys and meat products. Try sweet potatoes. I have had great results with that. When you are eating something soft, hold him on your lap and share a little. They like to feel included too lol. Give him a nice peice of toast crust removed, and let him have his way with it, let him make a mess and do as he wants with it. They will play with it rub it everywhere and make a big mess. But they will eat some too. Make eating an adventure and fun. No pressure. I would put the baby in the high chair and put different finger foods on the tray, and let him just play and go to town. It always meant a bath afterwards but he sure enjoyed it. Try a banana half, the toast, and like foods just laid out for his pleasure. Whatever you do dont sit there and say come on you have to eat lol. They see your frustration, heck I think they enjoy it lol. Best wishes.

if the baby is drinking a lot of milk that may also have something to do with it's eating. If where you are the temperature is hot humid and muggy it also effects childrens appetites because eating while it is hot causes some children to be poor eaters.Try offering samller meals more frequently. Offering the child a lot of fruit and vegtables. Dry cherrios and giving plain oatmeal or nestum(rice, corn wheat cereal) a try may also help providing the baby has no allergies to it. Then nestum can be mixed with mild juice and a variety of different things. 0If you are still concerned talk to the pediatrician about pediasure, it allows children who are having eating difficulities to be able to get proper nutrients. I experienced this when my youngest daughter was small and they put her on pediasure and it has done wonders I am so happy. Good luck I hope this helps you out with the journey.

Sometimes kids are just not hungry- it is hot and gross and he just may not feel like eating. Kids go through phases- maybe he is in a lull b/c he just had a growth spurt- or maybe he is going to start stocking up for a spurt.- Just offer healthy choices and when he is hungry he will eat- A 14 month old is not like an adult- they will eat when hungry- just always have food on hand. Also children at this age recieve more nutrients from fluids b/c the digestion is still not fully developed so keep the fluids flowing.

Could it be maybe he is bored with what he has, and would rather have something more grown-up? My child became uninterested with the Gerber second stage foods, and then I tried the stage 3 and she liked them better because they were chunkier, and that's what she was ready for. I realize your child is older than that probably, but maybe you just haven't found foods that he really likes. Try some new things and he might surprise you.

Does he drink alot of liquid? ( like juice or milk) Maybe you can cut that back or have him eat before he drinks. He could be feeling too full from his bottle or whatever.
