As Christians we can look at life and see the Bible coming true everyday, there is no way that those who wrote the Bible, both OT and NT, could have told what is happening today, except it be from God. Of course if you are not a Christian, you can not see anything, because the Bible was not written for the lost. If you want to understand it and see what we see, then you must become a Christian by putting you faith in Jesus Christ and asking Him into your heart and life, then and only then will you see the whole story.

The bible is the most influential piece of literature in history. Period. And a lot of people don't realize that the bible was put together by A LOT of different people and a lot of different groups. If you ask me, the church has sculpted today's religion. And the church sculpted the bible too. Either way, the bible does have a lot of good life lessons and scripture to live by. But as far as the author goes, who knows? Somethings in life will never be answered.

The Bible is greatest piece of fiction ever written. That's it! Sorry everyone, but anyone who thinks it is anything other than a really successful book is quite naive. However that does not stop anyone from judging other people based on the so-called values they find in the Bible. Let's hear the Christians get fussy now.
By the way - I have plenty of faith in God, just no faith in the God that the Bible readers believe in.

The earliest extant books from the NT are from the late 2nd/early 3rd century, with many of the books dating much later still. There are fragments from the mid 2nd century, and there are references to some books of the NT in writings from the early 2nd century.
But there's no way to know how much they may have changed between the early 2nd and the late 2nd/early 3rd century.
But it doesn't matter even if the copies we have are perfect replicas of the originals, because the originals are still nonsense hearsay written a minimum of decades, and as much as 100+ years after the purported 'facts'. A perfect copy of an urban legend is still an urban legend.

Have you studied Biblical textual criticism? No, you have not. No document ever recorded in human history had withstood so much critical review as the documents used to translate the modern Christian Bible. Check it out. It is the most accurate written record on earth. There is nearly 400 years od scholarship to back that up-check it out-really.

Haven't you found yourself in the word of God.. OK, maybe not because you do not know what you are reading and don't understand.
But you are in the bible.. Find the way, this I can't led you to it, that is up to you and the Holy Spirit. Ask him and he will show you where in the bible you are.
This way you will know if the bible is true or false.
I cannot make you believe and say that this bible is real.
I already believe it is, cause I have found Jesus and he speaking to me.
No, one in this world can convince to believe, unless you aloud yourself through the Holy Spirit.

The answer is, yes they do exist. The earliest copies of scripture are dated to the four century and are held by the Vatican.
I find it interesting that no one doubts the existence of Plato, Aristotle etc but there are those who doubt the authenticity of scripture. There are even non Christian third party historical references to Jesus in existence.

Why does it really matter when all good comes out of the bible to begin with. The bible is basically a guide that just helps you live your life better...whats so wrong with that?!

Too many incidents described in the Bible have been proved true by discovered artifacts and corroborated historical documentation.
