When I was married my wife denied for 13 years that she ever farted. Come on how stupid did she think I am. I don't want to be in the bathroom when someone is going (and vice versa) but I can live with the knowledge that my partner has to go or is there going.

I am with you. I have been married 10 years and my husband has never heard me pass gas, let alone take a dump! lol

No. Neither one of us minds doing it around each other.
Btw, I used to have male classmates who claimed that girls don't poop and refused to believe otherwise. Sounds like your partner could be one of them.
